RALEIGH (October 28, 2021) Higher Ed Works board members are the best. We are deeply appreciative of their support, and without them could not have achieved our goals. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our board members as we welcome four new members:
- Millie Tan is a seasoned marketing executive who previously served as Chief Marketing Officer for Quintiles (now IQVIA). Millie brings a passion for public education, experience on the board of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, and her integrative marketing strategist skills to the board.
- Cornelius Graves serves as Director, External Relations at Winston-Salem State University. He brings to Higher Ed Works a decade of experience working in higher education, with elected officials on the local, state and federal levels, and in the non-profit, community and private sector.
- Eden Bloss is Senior Director, External Communications, UNC-Greensboro. She brings over two decades of experience in public relations and issues management to the board, as well as experience working for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits and the federal government in corporate communications.
- Rusty Carter is rejoining the Higher Ed Works board of directors. He is a seasoned executive and CEO of Atlantic Packaging Company in Wilmington. This 75-year-old company is the market leader in industrial packaging and in customized converted products. Rusty brings a passion for higher education, commitment to excellence, deep strategic thinking, and experience serving two terms on the UNC Chapel Hill Board of Trustees to the board.
